Sara earned a degree in Human Health Sciences with a concentration in Physical Therapy from Northern Illinois University. Her passion for helping people heal from chronic muscle pain motivated her to earn a diploma in Therapeutic Massage and Body Work at NSFM, program approved by the Illinois State Board of Education, License No 227.016879. Her background also includes a Corrective Exercise Specialist certification from de National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is currently a part of the Physical Therapy alumni at the International University of Catalunya in Barcelona Spain. She has developed a wide range of skills working over a decade in Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Clinics as a Chiropractic Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Clinical Massage Therapist and Corrective Exercise Specialist certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has the ability to effectively communicate treatment to patients and help guide each of them through their care plans. While constantly receiving praise from patients, she continues to prove she is an expert at clinical massage therapy and delivers high quality therapy. She is very well versed in Neuromuscular Therapy, Orthopedic Massage based on Muscular Therapy developed by Dr. Ben Benjamin, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Zen-Shiatshu, and Chiropractic Massage. Sara's treatments range from complete Posture Alignment Assesssments including invigorating Sports/Medical /Deep tissue massages for fatigued muscles to injury rehabilitation and noninvasive Cranio-Sacral Therapy/Myofascial Release for alleviation of stress and headaches.
Sara is fluent in Castilian/Catalan, Spanish and English, enjoys an active balanced life style, adding to her daily routine Running, Pilates, Kick Boxing and Weight Lifting. Other hobbies include cooking, ancient medicine research and loves to travel.
